This event may be of interest to some of you:

Thursday 1 December 2011

Venue: Royal Society of Medicine, 1 Wimpole Street, LONDON, W1G 0AE

This all day event organised jointly by the RSM Catastrophes & Conflict Forum in collaboration with the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology aims to raise awareness of the particular challenges involved in meeting the reproductive health needs of populations affected by conflict and disasters.

Speakers will describe present best practice guidelines and how these have been applied in different situations and encourage coordination and collaboration between different actors working in this area.
This conference will provide an opportunity for those with previous experience in the field to take time to reflect, share information and extend their networks; for those newly interested in this area it will be an excellent introduction and provide a useful networking opportunity.
